Can we just talk about Chlorophyll for a moment? Fall is finally happening here in Indiana, no thanks to the hotter than usual temperatures and the sun shining everyday. I’m the last person that would ever complain about warm temperatures, but I wish the leaves would change colors already! I was delighted to find a pretty tree when the Drabyn family made the drive from Noblesville all the way down to Greenwood for a family session. They are awesome! See for yourself 😀Read More
I’m really glad my neighbors wanted to do fall photos. If they hadn’t signed up willingly, I was going to have to trick them into a session because that’s how much I love hanging out with them. They are awesome, fun, super nice, and they bake delicious desserts! Plus, you can’t beat the commute time since they only live thirty seconds away. Thank you, Owen family, for the wonderful Sunday company!
Happy Birthday, Paul! September is a great month to have a birthday. The weather is warm, daylight is abundant, and the leaves start to change. Fall is just around the corner! I’m so glad I get to continue documenting these brothers as they grow every year. They’re older and sweeter every time I see them. As always, big thanks to their kind and loving momma for being so sweet. She’s a great mom and an amazing friend. Now that I’m a momma, too, it’s hard to find time to meet up with friends, so bonus points for the ones who let me be creative and artistic while also getting to hang out. Thanks, Brandi, can’t wait to see you guys again soon!
Elsie is turning three in just a few days. How is this possible when I just took her first birthday photos a little while ago? Time is a blur, ya’ll! You have to cherish every laugh, every smile, every cuddle. Elsie gave me a glimpse of my future with my little guy, Will, and what he’ll be like as a three-nager. Will is already unstoppable. Wherever he is, he doesn’t want to be. He has to go, go, go! Elsie also enjoys this 🙂 I love this tiny girl and all her energy. Special hugs to mom and dad for their patience. Haley, you’re about to have another one to chase after. Are you ready? ♥Read More
The perfect wedding? Yes, I think so! I love a small, enjoyable backyard gathering of friends and family that just so happens to have two people tying the knot. Sara and Max had a perfect day. These two are poets so I’m not even going to attempt to describe the gorgeous weather, but trust me, the breeze was light and the sun was warm, it was perfect! They requested a more photojournalistic approach to their wedding images, something I love to hear. The bride grew the majority of these flowers in her own backyard and wore a vintage dress. Their lovable dog, Bruce, was the ring bearer. Basically, if you want me to fall in love with a couple, talk about photojournalism, your home-grown garden, and bring a dog. Mission accomplished. Also, shout-out to TURF catering for the delicious, local food that was all made from scratch. Thank you, Max and Sara, for inviting me to document your day. Cheers to you and your awesome families!
