Jessica and Pierce sure know how to brighten up a cold December day! This teal bridge is becoming a historical landmark in their life. Add Jessica’s beautiful red hair, a gorgeous purple dress, and two radiant smiles to turn a gray, drab day into a stunning photo session. Their baby girl, Kennedy, will likely be making her grand entrance into the world in February. They’re going to be amazing parents. Congratulations to you both!
Even though the Santa Hustle 5k rerouted our morning session, I think yesterday was a pretty great day. Paul and Dean are two of the sweetest brothers, they always wear a smile and they always bring one of my favorite people to their sessions—their mom 🙂 Which I am really thankful for because Dean made us work for this one! After narrowly escaping the herds of Santas running through downtown, we went to my trusty backup location, Washington Township Park. Dean turned one a few weeks ago and just wait til you see these happy cheeks. Paul, as usual, is an amazing big brother. It was a little rocky at first, but we pulled through! Thanks again to these awesome brothers.
Logan’s little bear hat might be the cutest thing I’ve ever seen, not to mention the beautiful maroon and gray color scheme Brittany and Michael picked to wear. We worked hard to get a few smiles out of Logan and the effort was worth it. He’s a good-lookin’ kid! Also, I love visiting Washington Township Park for family portraits because there are so many great spots to use as backgrounds. Check it out if you’re ever on the West side of town!Read More
Jamie and Laura were some of my favorite childhood playmates many, many years ago. We used to run and jump and play at Turkey Run State Park during family reunions 🙂 (We really should bring back that tradition, ladies!) So I was super excited when Jamie contacted me recently for family photos. We all had to drive a bit, but it was definitely worth it. Thank you everyone for making the trip to Tippecanoe Battlefield Park and for making our morning so much fun!Read More
The fall colors have been absolutely stunning this year, so visiting Bloomington for Harper’s first birthday was amazing. The weather was warm, the leaves were bright, and Harper and her parents are awesome people! Thanks for all the great smiles, Angela, Jordan, and Harper.
It rained all day. But Jamie and I knew (hoped?!) it wouldn’t last all night, so we agreed to meet up in the early evening and see if we could make this engagement session happen while Justin was still in town. We pulled it off in spectacular style! The rain made the colors of the leaves pop and everything looked fresh and crisp. It was the perfect autumn day. Not to mention these two lovebirds! I cannot wait to photograph their September 2016 wedding. Congratulations on your engagement, Jamie and Justin!
