The fall colors have been absolutely stunning this year, so visiting Bloomington for Harper’s first birthday was amazing. The weather was warm, the leaves were bright, and Harper and her parents are awesome people! Thanks for all the great smiles, Angela, Jordan, and Harper.
It rained all day. But Jamie and I knew (hoped?!) it wouldn’t last all night, so we agreed to meet up in the early evening and see if we could make this engagement session happen while Justin was still in town. We pulled it off in spectacular style! The rain made the colors of the leaves pop and everything looked fresh and crisp. It was the perfect autumn day. Not to mention these two lovebirds! I cannot wait to photograph their September 2016 wedding. Congratulations on your engagement, Jamie and Justin!
This beautiful baby girl is officially one year old! Her birthday tutu and outfit are handmade from her adoring grandma. What a gift. It was a pleasure photographing this family, dear friends of mine who were very pregnant last year as they attended my wedding 🙂 We’re sharing the images but keeping their names off the internet. I can’t blame them, yay privacy! Enjoy.
Everything is awesome! Especially for Michelle and Chris. Their reception was Lego-themed and the guests had a blast. Their wedding was absolutely gorgeous, held in Zionsville at The Cardinal Room. The uncharacteristically warm March day was sunny and beautiful. Perfect for photos! Thank you, Michelle and Chris, for allowing me to document your awesome day.
My family is full of wonderful people. The only problem is that we all live so far apart! Luckily, my wonderful Aunt Mary came to town recently (from Phoenix!) and it collided with another fabulous group of Cecil’s on their travels (from Washington!) and the result was awesome. We had a great time hanging out just eating burgers on a hot summer evening. Perfect! The following evening was just as fun as we visited Washington Township Park for family portraits. Thank you to Jill, Nathan, Joy, Aunt Mary, and Gracie for being so willing to chase the sun with me and my camera. Even the dogs looked happy. I’m hoping the same for next summer, in Colorado, to see how many people we can get to actually look at the camera and smile in one photo!Read More
