This beautiful baby girl is officially one year old! Her birthday tutu and outfit are handmade from her adoring grandma. What a gift. It was a pleasure photographing this family, dear friends of mine who were very pregnant last year as they attended my wedding 🙂 We’re sharing the images but keeping their names off the internet. I can’t blame them, yay privacy! Enjoy.
My family is full of wonderful people. The only problem is that we all live so far apart! Luckily, my wonderful Aunt Mary came to town recently (from Phoenix!) and it collided with another fabulous group of Cecil’s on their travels (from Washington!) and the result was awesome. We had a great time hanging out just eating burgers on a hot summer evening. Perfect! The following evening was just as fun as we visited Washington Township Park for family portraits. Thank you to Jill, Nathan, Joy, Aunt Mary, and Gracie for being so willing to chase the sun with me and my camera. Even the dogs looked happy. I’m hoping the same for next summer, in Colorado, to see how many people we can get to actually look at the camera and smile in one photo!Read More
Sophie Ruffle Bottoms is definitely one of my most favorite clients. She is always bubbly, happy, and smiling, which, let’s face it, makes my job super easy. She has an adoring mother and father that treasure every minute they get to spend with her. They are kind, caring, amazing people and I am grateful to call them friends. They trusted me to photograph their wedding, Sophie’s birth, and many more of her adorable life milestones. Thank you, Nate and Kristi, can’t wait to see you again soon!
My husband has some great friends and co-workers, and sometimes he actually shares them with me! So thank you, Bill, for introducing me to Mike and his two great kids, Alex and Lucy. They live in an awesome neighborhood in Indianapolis which was a joy photographing. They’re a family of avid readers and they love s’mores. These are my kind of people.
Paul and Dean are two of the cutest little hunks I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing. These brothers are sweet and kind, just like their mother, Brandi, one of my favorite former colleagues of all time. She has a heart of gold! I met up with them for a quick little shoot in Garfield Park which is a gorgeous place to get married (Bill and I got married there!) but they like to keep the portrait sessions outside the gates, which we were happy to do. Thanks for a great afternoon, Burgin brothers!
