Logan’s little bear hat might be the cutest thing I’ve ever seen, not to mention the beautiful maroon and gray color scheme Brittany and Michael picked to wear. We worked hard to get a few smiles out of Logan and the effort was worth it. He’s a good-lookin’ kid! Also, I love visiting Washington Township Park for family portraits because there are so many great spots to use as backgrounds. Check it out if you’re ever on the West side of town!Read More
Jamie and Laura were some of my favorite childhood playmates many, many years ago. We used to run and jump and play at Turkey Run State Park during family reunions 🙂 (We really should bring back that tradition, ladies!) So I was super excited when Jamie contacted me recently for family photos. We all had to drive a bit, but it was definitely worth it. Thank you everyone for making the trip to Tippecanoe Battlefield Park and for making our morning so much fun!Read More
The fall colors have been absolutely stunning this year, so visiting Bloomington for Harper’s first birthday was amazing. The weather was warm, the leaves were bright, and Harper and her parents are awesome people! Thanks for all the great smiles, Angela, Jordan, and Harper.
This beautiful baby girl is officially one year old! Her birthday tutu and outfit are handmade from her adoring grandma. What a gift. It was a pleasure photographing this family, dear friends of mine who were very pregnant last year as they attended my wedding 🙂 We’re sharing the images but keeping their names off the internet. I can’t blame them, yay privacy! Enjoy.
My family is full of wonderful people. The only problem is that we all live so far apart! Luckily, my wonderful Aunt Mary came to town recently (from Phoenix!) and it collided with another fabulous group of Cecil’s on their travels (from Washington!) and the result was awesome. We had a great time hanging out just eating burgers on a hot summer evening. Perfect! The following evening was just as fun as we visited Washington Township Park for family portraits. Thank you to Jill, Nathan, Joy, Aunt Mary, and Gracie for being so willing to chase the sun with me and my camera. Even the dogs looked happy. I’m hoping the same for next summer, in Colorado, to see how many people we can get to actually look at the camera and smile in one photo!Read More
